Were Karen villagers from Klity really "all smiles" (as reported by the Bangkok Post) when they left court last week, after receiving minimal compensation for the lead poisoning their community has suffered for nearly a decade? [see: http://www.minesandcommunities.org/Action/press883.htm]
In any event, their struggle is far from over.
