The article below from the Chinese Labour Bulletin, does an excellent job of emphasising the systemic nature of labour problems in China, moving beyond the immediate headlines over the recent exposé of children working in brick-kilns to look at how the government at the very best turns a blind-eye to, if not colludes, in such poor labour practices - including the egregious health & safety record of coal mining.
